Centre for Faith and Spirituality


The Centre provides many rooms to facilitate worship, prayer, refection and group meetings.

For Room bookings please contact the administrator cfschaplains@lboro.ac.uk from 10am-4pm Monday and Wednesday; 10am-12noon Tuesday, Thursday and Friday


A meeting place to relax and chat upstairs in the main entrance of the Centre. With extensive display area containing relevant faith and spirituality information.

Quiet Room  (Room 224)

A space for any member of the university to use for reflection, meditation, prayer or just to sit quietly.

Chapel (Room 208)

The chapel is a large space available for Christian formal services, worship, prayer or quiet reflection and sanctuary.

Muslim Prayer Room (Room 228)

A space for Muslim prayer and reflection. Male and Female ablution areas leading directly into the prayer room are also provided. A small library of Muslim literature is available.

Faith Rooms (Rooms 209, 210, 211)

A space that can be used as one large room or separated by partitions into three small rooms. These rooms can be booked for any faith or spirituality related purposes.

Chaplains Library

The Chaplains Library includes a selection of books, magazines and newspapers - free to read or borrow - in the reception area.

Garden of Remembrance

The Garden of Remembrance, situated near the EHB, is a place where all are welcomed to reflect and sit quietly remembering former members of Loughborough University and the Loughborough Colleges. Plaques fixed onto the walls show the name and details of those who have died.
