Off campus accommodation
Where will you live next year? ..... Talk to us first!
The Student Accommodation Team are here to help you choose accommodation that is right for you. We offer advice and support for all your accommodation needs - on or off campus.
If you are considering living in town, we can provide you with the necessary advice and information about suitable accommodation in Loughborough.
Many students choose to live in accommodation off campus after their first year. There is a wide selection of privately owned accommodation in Loughborough. These range from individual rooms with shared facilities, shared houses suitable for groups, self contained flats and bedsits and large private halls.
Many agents in town are targeting students to ‘sign up now’. Don’t feel pressured into making a rush decision, there is always surplus accommodation available in Loughborough. The longer you leave it - the more chance you have to negotiate a deal and avoid paying Summer rent! The Student Union Housing Bazaar in December, to which local landlords are invited to promote their properties, is a good place to start thinking about accommodation for next year. The best bargains are often to be had by waiting until later in the year!
What we offer in town?
The Student Accommodation Centre advertise properties for Landlords who have been accredited by DASH Landlord Accreditation and meet standards set in partnership with Charnwood Borough Council.
We start advertising University Approved accommodation on the 1st December every year and aim to offer a high standard of privately owned accommodation in Loughborough. All properties advertised by the Student Accommodation Centre have been inspected by us. We are here to offer support and advice during your tenancy - please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries or concerns.
The Student Accommodation Centre work closely with the Students Union to promote the Housing Bazaar early in December, we will be happy to speak to you there to discuss all of your accommodation options. We urge students to wait until this time to start thinking about accommodation for next year.
