Maintenance fault/repair
Residents are required to report to the Hall Manager any damage or fault/repairs required to the premises/contents within 24 hours of becoming aware of it. If you have a maintenance fault you can either report this to your hall office or submit a repair request online.
Please choose the relevant form for your hall, and ensure you give all the details and as much information as you can to help us respond to your request. Please do not use this form to chase up or follow through previously submitted requests, this must be done via your hall office.
University Halls and Forest Court (excluding Unite Halls)
For all University Halls (excluding Unite Halls - see below), please complete our online Maintenance Fault/Repair Report Form.
Please complete all sections in full and give as much information as possible about the nature of the fault. This will ensure that the job is allocated correctly.
Your request will be processed within 24 hours (Mon - Fri). If your request is urgent, please DO NOT complete this form - contact your Hall Manager or Duty Sub-Warden.
You will be sent a confirmation email and a copy of these details. Your fault/repair will be logged by your Hall Manager team. If you wish to query the progress of this report please visit your Hall reception.
For information on response times, please see our Service level targets.
Unite Halls
Unite operates it's own online reporting system.
Please copy the following 10 digit Booking Code for your hall and paste in onto your Unite Report form.
- Harry French - RN00840001
- The Holt - RN00840005
- William Morris (inc Somerton) - RN00881199
Once you’ve reported a maintenance fault, Unite will arrange for their maintenance team to fix it and will send you an email to let you know when this will be. You can then check the status of your maintenance request online from your Personal Homepage. If you have any questions about the request you can also speak to a member of the UNITE team on site.
