At Falkner Eggington you will find:

  • Budget accommodation fully refurbished to a high standard
  • Each flat is an individual 2/3 storey block
  • All bedrooms have single beds
  • 5 to 8 students share a large kitchen/diner, 2 showers and 2 toilets
  • 2 accessible en-suite rooms, with standard width entrance doorway & corridor

  • Fortnightly bedroom cleaning 
  • Weekly cleaning of kitchens and communal areas 
  • Communal bathrooms and toilet facilities will be cleaned a minimum of three times a week 

Accommodation packages

Undergraduates

All rooms offered on a 41-week let (plus additional fee for freshers week included).

  • £5,151.21 (£123.91 per week) - Standard, without wash hand basin 

Postgraduates 

All rooms offered on a 50-week let 

  • £6,266.42 (£123.91 per week) - Standard, without wash hand basin 

All fees above include utilities, wired and wireless network, housekeeping service, out of hours Warden Service, Howden for Students insurance policy cover and hall activities.

  • New Undergraduates: Wednesday 23 September 2026
  • International (ONCAMPUS) Students: Monday 21 September 2026
  • Returning students: Friday 25 September 2026
  • Semester 2 students: TBC

Postgraduates

Wednesday 23 September 2026

International students are able to move in early from Monday 21 September 2026, but you must notify us at sac@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk if you plan to do this. There will be an early room rate at £25 per night.

  • 50 week let (postgraduates): 23 September 2026 - 11 September 2027
  • 41 week let (International ONCAMPUS Students): 23 September 2026 - 10 July 2027

  • 18 week let (Semester 1): TBC
  • 23 week let (Semester 2): TBC

Hall committee

The Student Hall Committee are on hand to offer support to the hall community. The committees are elected annually and are run by students for students. Their job is to make sure you have a fantastic time in halls with plenty of events for everyone.
