Student Success Academy

Many guests sat at round tables for the Student Success Academy celebration evening

Make the most of your time at Loughborough with tailored support, practical opportunities, and expert guidance designed for students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in higher education. From day one to graduation, we’ll help you build skills, gain experience, and prepare for your next chapter.

With a focus on key milestones: starting university, navigating your placement year, stepping into final year, and launching your graduate career, the Academy offers activities, workshops, and one-to-one support to help you overcome barriers and achieve your own version of success. Whether your goals are academic, personal, or career-focused, we’re here to help you get there.

Research shows that some students from underrepresented groups can face extra challenges in securing placements, achieving top grades, and accessing graduate roles. The Student Success Academy is here to change that — opening doors, raising aspirations, and championing your journey every step of the way.
