Staff
The Careers and Employability Centre provides a range of services for your students.
Each Careers Adviser works with specific departments to provide careers advice and guidance. More information can be found in Supporting your students.
Research Staff
All Research Staff may use the facilities and information in the Careers and Employability Centre and they have a Career Development Adviser who works solely with research staff.
Graduate destination data
Graduate destination data is available by programme and year in our First Destination Statistics. If you require specific labour market information contact the Graduate Destinations Co-ordinator.
Our client group
In addition to current students the Careers and Employability Centre sees Loughborough graduates subject to the necessary resource being available. Careers advisers will always see graduates who are considering career changes or have been made redundant, even if they left Loughborough some years earlier. A service is also provided to members of staff and their close relatives. Contact us for details.
Increasing student employability
The Careers and Employability Centre encourages all students to gain work experience and to make the most from such opportunities.. The Employability Development Adviser also works to expand such opportunities. There is also a workshadowing programme and mentoring schemes for specific groups, and all advisers lead sessions in departments to help students to prepare for placements. We also advertise placements and offer resources for Placement Tutors.
Staff newsletters
The Careers and Employability Centre publishes an edition of our Staff e-newsletter each semester.
