  • British Swimming - Performance Evaluation Platform

This project established a web-platform to manage the existing Intensive Training Centre framework for British Swimming including functionality to capture data and text based information and produce management reports.‌

  • Miscellaneous

  • Systems Integration Network Uncertainty (SINU)

SINU is a pilot study for a new approach to analyse the risk of time scale overruns in large scale systems integration projects. This approach assumes that overruns occur within even the best managed project and aims to analyse the inter business factors that contribute to the overruns.

  • vizNET

vizNET was a collaboration between key visualization centres in the UK with a view to establishing a National Centre of Excellence.

  • Distributed Visualization Rendering for Grid Environments Through Stream Adaptat

The project has focused on providing remote interactive access for existing visualisation applications, rather than imposing a new visualisation environment on application scientists and has led to an innovative solution capable of delivering user focused high performance visualisations for a wide variety of visualisation domains from material science to stereoscopic CT and MRI visualizations.

  • Understanding of Complex Properties Resulting from Multi-source, Multi-parameter

This research project explored the possible approaches to handle an inter-disciplinary multi-criteria decision analysis environment for engineering complex systems. This involved creating an overall coupled systems model that allowed individual models to interact in the same modelling environment.

  • Supercomputing in the Palm of the Hand

This research has developed an innovative software tool that can enable the scientist to monitor and control grid-based simulations from anywhere and at any time (24/7) via a handheld PDA device.
