Equipment - Ultimaker 3 Printer for 3D Printing
The Ultimaker 3 is a small, readily available 3D Printer. The AMRG group is home to one Ultimaker 3 printer which is used for student teaching as well as student projects.
The Ultimaker 3 supports dual extrusion and uses Cura software to slice 3D models into layers which are then printed layer-by-layer onto a build platform using PLA, ABS, CPE, CPE+, PC, Nylon, TPU 95A. It has an automatic nozzle height setting. The part needs to be manually removed from the build platform.
