Facilities and Equipment

The AMRG group is home to a lot of different Additive Manufacturing processes – from Selective Laser Sintering to Ultrasonic Consolidation. Information on the different processes can be found here About AM. The machines are spaced in three labs. The newly refurbished research lab serves as the home for most of the machines, conference room and exhibitions. A second research lab is home to bigger machines and other equipment – this is where most of the “secret” research is taking place. The teaching lab has been newly refurbished with 3D printers to give the students a hands-on experience. If you stop by, ask someone from the group to show you around.
