Design and Print Services

All files can be sent to print@lboro.ac.uk, whether for A4, A3 or large format printing. File integrity is maintained best when you save your file as a PDF before sending it to us. For staff, A4 files can be uploaded via the online printing service website.

We can also take files over the counter at the Print Services reception in the Manzoni building from your USB memory stick. All memory sticks are virus checked before we process your file for print so please ensure that you only have the file to be printed loaded on to it to ensure the virus checking process is speedy.

Although we can accept your file for print in this way, we cannot carry out file changes at the counter. Please make sure that your file is ready for print.

This is when the printed area extends out of the trimmed area. To achieve this, printers print a larger area than is required on oversized paper and then trim the paper down to the required finished size.

Yes, we accept all cards except for American Express. There is a 50p fee for card purchases less than £5.

The online printing services website (currently a staff only service) does not currently accept card payments. We hope to roll out a credit card option on the service when it is made available to students.

Printer credits can be used to purchase posters from A4 up to A0. Further information can be found on the IT Services website. Unfortunately our other services cannot be paid for with printer credits.

You can also top up your Printer Credits by cash or card at the Print Services reception in the Manzoni building.

Refunds are only available when printing errors are caused by a technical fault. We do not provide refunds for design, spelling or user errors.

Please note that we advise our customers to save files as a PDF before bringing it to us to ensure file integrity. Please ensure you seek full advice from the PC Clinic in the Haslegrave building before sending your file for print if you have any queries.

We operate a limited number of postal services from our reception in the Manzoni building. These include postage stamps, stamped mail collection, recorded delivery and DHL services. Parcels can also be collected from this location.

There is also a post box just outside of the reception.
