Research groups and centres

Cynthia joined Loughborough Business School in May 2018 as a University Excellence 100 Lecturer in Finance. Prior to that, she held a post doctoral research post at the University of Reading.

Cynthia holds a PhD in Real Estate Finance, an MPhil in Land Economy Research from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China.

Cynthia’s research revolves around understanding human and firm behaviours in decision making. Her research spans the areas of corporate finance, behavioural economics and finance, real estate economics and finance, and experimental economics.

She is a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy.
