Key roles and responsbilities
Alex Smith is a laboratory technician working for the Applied Photovoltaics group at CREST. His role is primarily focused on indoor module and cell measurement and characterisation, which is largely centred around the use of solar simulators. Other activities include assistance with construction, maintenance and calibration of various systems, as well as long term monitoring and setting of outdoor meteorological measurement systems.
