On 19^th – 21^st July, Formula Student Teams gathered from across the world for the UK race event at Silverstone.

The Loughborough Motorsport Team performed extremely well:

The Team came 4^th in the Skid Pad element, were 9^th in Endurance and for the second year running, Monty Jeacock-Fewtrell won the Top Driver’s Award!

The car performed without any major faults throughout the event and earned the Team the overall position of 4^th Place, which is an excellent start to their race season!

Monty, former Team Leader for Formula Student graduated earlier in July and had this to say in respect of his experience with the Team:

"Formula Student UK was a great way to end my 5 years of university. The team did a great job preparing the car and it was fantastic to win the Top Individual driver award again. Formula Student has been a great all-round experience and it is sad to have to move on." 

The Team are on their way to Austria next: 28th July - 1st August at the Red Bull Ring and we wish them all the very best of luck!
