Lecturer in Mathematics at Universidade Federal do ABC, Brazil, Priscila Leal da Silvajoined the School of Science in September 2021 as a Newton International Fellow to work with Prof Sara Lombardo. Her presentation for the IAS will explore her current research into the stability of solutions, a broad topic that can explain diverse phenomena such as aircraft turbulence and the occurrence of anomalous waves in the ocean.
