Giving to Loughborough
Donor Circles and Scholarship Schemes
The purpose of Donor Circles is to show thanks and celebrate the support received from alumni, staff and friends of the University.
The Schofield Society recognises those supporters who kindly donate £1,000 or more annually to Loughborough. We are very grateful to those who support Loughborough and when you are part of a donor circle we show our appreciation through the many benefits mentioned below.
The Schofield Society
This Society is named after Doctor Herbert Schofield whose foresight and vision laid the foundations of Loughborough University, and whose ethos we uphold and continue to implement today. In today's financial climate charitable gifts are key to ensure that Loughborough continues to deliver the highest quality educational experience and the widest opportunities for all students.
Membership of the Schofield Society will recognise 3 levels of support:
Schofield Society Member £1,000 - £2,499
Schofield Society Fellow £2,500 - £4,999
Schofield Society Patron £5,000 and over
As a member of the Schofield Society you will:
- receive annual updates from the Vice-Chancellor
- be invited to a range of special events, including the annual Schofield Society Dinner
Scholarships are vital funds that enable academically talented, elite athletes and disadvantaged students to study at Loughborough.
By supporting a scholarship scheme at Loughborough, you will receive annual updates from the Scholars who your donation supports.
If you choose to support your very own named Scholarship, you will receive:
- an introductory report about the Scholar who has been awarded your Scholarship;
- annual updates from the Scholar
- Invitations to exclusive events and an opportunity to meet with the Scholar
