It was a huge honour to welcome Dr Sandra Magnus, former NASA astronaut to the National Centre for Combustion and Aerothermal Technology (NCCAT) on 20th March, ahead of the global Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre (UTC) Directors Conference, where Dr Magnus was guest speaker.

Dr Sandra Magnus had a tour of the NCCAT world class facilities, after which our CDT in Gas Turbine Aerodynamics students were able to spend some time with Dr Magnus asking about her time as an astronaut.
