JPIAMR - Third joint call on transmission dynamics
JPIAMR - Third joint call on transmission dynamics
The Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance invites applications for its joint call on transmission dynamics. This aims to combine the resources, infrastructures and research strengths of multiple countries in order to address transmission of antibiotic resistance following a one health approach. It further aims to unravel the dynamics of transmission and selection of antimicrobial resistance at genetic, bacterial, animal, human, societal and environmental levels, in order to design and evaluate preventive and intervening measures for controlling resistance.
Applicants must be transnational consortia with a minimum of three eligible partners from three different countries participating in the call, and a maximum of six participants. This may be increased to seven participants, if partners from the underrepresented countries, Poland or Latvia, are included. Collaborations should be multidisciplinary and may include participants from academia, medical and public health practitioners – both human and veterinary, policy makers and industry. A maximum of two project participants may be funded by the same funding organisation. Project participants not eligible for funding may be involved in projects if they secure their own funding.
Projects may last up to three years. The overall budget for this call is €30 million.
