Developments in World City Network Analyses

The objective of this set of special sessions during the upcoming AAG conference is to develop a timely overview of recent developments in World City Network Analyses. Contributions may include papers dealing with:

  • alternative ways of conceptualizing, and thinking about, world city networks;
  • findings based on updated and/or innovative datasets;
  • new ways of specifying world city networks;
  • alternative ways of analyzing world city networks

Interested participants should send a title and an abstract of about 250 words to Ben Derudder (ben.derudder@UGent.be) by September 15th at the latest. Note that contributors will have to register for the conference and submit their abstract the regular way (i.e. through the AAG website: http://www.aag.org/cs/annualmeeting), after which they need send the registration code (PIN) they receive.
