Twisting dives

The twisting techniques used by competitive springboard divers are primarily aerial techniques using asymmetrical movements of the arms and hips. There is a potential problem of squaring up for entry if too much contact twist is used. Computer simulation is used to investigate the various techniques for producing and stopping twist.
