Motor Control
Motor control goes beyond the mechanics of movement and seeks to gain
an understanding of sports technique from a perspective of coordination
and neuro-muscular control. Instability may be controlled by continuous
adjustment allowing the performance of handstands or non-twisting layout
double somersaults. The characteristics of optimal technique may be based
upon considerations of sensitivity and control as in the case of the scooped
giant circle on high bar.
