Located within the Wolfson School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, the Additive Manufacturing Research Group (AMRG) at Loughborough University is widely regarded as the world's leading centre for Additive Manufacturing (AM) research, development and dissemination.

The research group (formerly known as the Rapid Manufacturing Research Group) includes both internationally leading academics and one of the world's most comprehensive additive manufacturing laboratories, supported by state-of-the-art testing facilities.

The aim of the AMRG is to push forward the development and application of additive layer manufacturing technologies into main stream industrial applications.
