*24. Teaching Quality Enhancement: additional
funding
To note that the institutional strand of the existing Teaching Quality
Enhancement Fund is now being extended for a further year to the end of
2005/06. Additional funds are also
being allocated for 2004/05 and 2005/06 to support staff development of
teachers in higher education, under the heading “Supporting Professional
Standards”. The indicative allocation
of Loughborough for each year/funding strand is £176,418 (total £529,254).
