Loughborough Lightning U21s

Loughborough Lightning U21s have been formed ahead of the 2026/27 season with the FAWNL launching the new Development League, replacing the former FAWNL Reserve League.

The creation of this league presents an exciting opportunity to provide a clear development pathway for emerging players across the Loughborough University landscape, as well as for young, high-potential female footballers in Loughborough and surrounding areas, with the aim of supporting the transition from academy/youth football into senior football.

Loughborough Lightning U21 fixtures will be played at Loughborough University on Holywell Pitch 4.

The side will be led by Pathway Coach, Harrison Job.
