Penny Sotiropoulou and Leila Wilmer have been awarded the TS Shipman prize (£800) for the ESRC funded Brexit event they organised with Sophie Hyde (former drama PhD Student) and Geographer Dr Marco Antonsich, as part of the Festival of Social Sciences in November 2017.
The TS Shipman Prize is one of the most prestigious awards in the University and is awarded to student who are considered to have contributed most to the development of co-operation and aid between the University or Colleges and the local community.
The presentation for this award will be at Loughborough Town Hall on the 15th of May.
