The conference theme was New Horizons for Cities and Regions in a Changing World and attracted around 220 delegates. Across the two days there were more than 165 presentations from researchers based in over 30 countries.
The Regional Studies Association Winter Conference 2018 had the purpose of discussion and debate around important issues, to establish the need and nature of future research imperatives in the field, and to address the concerns and challenges confronting practitioners and policymakers.
