Postgraduate researcher Leila Wilmer has been awarded a Dudley Stamp Memorial Award of £500 from the Royal Geographical Society to conduct fieldwork in two Russian cities, Kazan and Ekaterinburg (April-June).
This PhD research investigates narratives of continuity in urban citizens’ perspectives on Russia and its people through interviews and event observation.
