Dayei Oh is a PhD student at Online Civic Culture Centre for Doctoral Training at Loughborough University. She has a First Class BA Psychology degree from Ewha Womans University (South Korea), and an MA with Distinction in International Media and Communications from the University of Nottingham.

Before joining Loughborough University, Dayei has previously worked at the Associated Press (AP).

Dayei's research interest focuses on emotion and incivility in political discussions on social media. Specifically, her PhD research will investigate emotion and incivility in pro-abortion and anti-abortion discourse on Facebook news comments in the UK, Ireland, and South Korea.
