Campus tours are the perfect opportunity to see our beautiful campus and find out more about what life is like here at Loughborough.

What to expect

13:30 Registration - Meet at the Edward Herbert Building (EHB)
14:15 Tours begin
15:30 (approx) Tour ends (back at the Edward Herbert Building)

Campus tours usually take between 60 - 75 minutes – don’t forget to wear comfy shoes as our campus is big and our tours are on foot! If you or you guest have any mobility issues you’d like us to factor in to your tour experience give us a call on 01509222804 or drop us an email.

We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable during their visit with us. Hand sanitiser will be provided for all visitors to use and we are limiting tour group sizes to comply with government guidelines. Social distancing measures have been implemented and we would ask that all visitors follow these procedures whilst on campus with us. In order to protect our community and visitors to campus currently we are unable to take tour groups inside buildings. To see inside some of our facilities in more detail you can view our 360 virtual tours.

Finding out more about your subject
These campus tour events do not include information on specific subject areas and it is not possible to give tours of our academic departments at this time. Further information about our undergraduate courses can be found online. You can also book a place at one of our Virtual Open Days where you will be able to speak to academic staff and subject ambassadors.

Accommodation
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and to protect our students living on campus we have taken the decision not to show our halls of residence as part of the campus tour events. You can find out more about living in our halls of residence here including 360 tours of rooms and other facilities so you can get a feel for what our accommodation has to offer.

Guests
In order to be able to effectively manage the campus tour events in line with government guidelines guests are strictly limited to one guest per person. If you bring additional guests with you to the event they will not be able to join the tour. We will keep this policy in constant review and update it in-line with government advice and policy.

Book your place

Unfortunately, due to the national lockdown in England that is scheduled to commence on Thursday 5th November 2020 our campus tour events taking place between 11th November and 2nd December are not able to go ahead as planned. We are hopeful that the events due to take place after 2nd December will be able to go ahead as planned. We are monitoring the situation closely and will update you via email nearer the time.

Before you travel

Before you travel to the University please check local travel restrictions within your area. Please do not travel to our campus if your area is subject to local lockdown measures – attending a campus tour is not considered to be an essential reason for travel. Travel restrictions are still in place for a number of countries within the EU and further afield. If you live outside of the UK please check the websites of your home country and the UK Government for the latest information and regulations with regards to travel and self-isolation on arrival in the UK before booking a place on a tour or making any travel arrangements.

Getting here

If you are travelling by car and using a satnav, please use postcode LE11 3TU to get to campus. For further information on how to find us and travelling to the University please visit our website.
