I came to Loughborough University thorough Clearing and I’m really glad I did – it ranks much higher in the league tables, compared to other universities.

I joined Loughborough University on a four-year BEng course, but I didn't want to leave so I switched to a five-year MEng! My favourite thing about Loughborough was the campus environment, and the town centre which is perfect for students.

Aircrafts have always fascinated me. Just after I finished my IGCSE, I did not know what course to do but I knew that I wanted to do something relating to maths and physics. I have always been fascinated by aircrafts and flying, so I thought that Aeronautical Engineering would be the best course for me. The teaching was amazing, and the lecturers were always very helpful.

My favourite module was 'Aircraft Structural Stability' which involved a trip to Cranfield University for an Aircraft flying test, so we could learn about aircraft stability.

During my studies, I had help from the Disability support team, as they conducted a learning disability test and found out that I am Dyslexic and Dyspraxic.

This meant that I could access any necessary assistance from them. For example, I was given extra time in exams /class assessments and I was given extra study support by Student Services.

There was always so much to do in Loughborough. I would say to make the best out of your time here by getting involved in sports, societies and anything else that you can. Coming to Loughborough is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Anything is possible at Loughborough University.
