Before you can apply, you will need your UCAS application number (or if you are applying for an Art foundation Diploma, your University application number), and a non-academic email address.

Student Accommodation: How to Apply

 The accommodation application portal requires you to register before you can login for the first time. We will email you, to let you know when to register.

You will need to create your own username and password to access the accommodation application portal. We recommend that you do not use your current school or college email, as we will continue to send emails to the email address you provide throughout your studies.

Once you have registered, we will send a confirmation email. You will also receive an email from the Student Accommodation Centre to advise when you are eligible to proceed to the application stage.


If you have a confirmed offer, you will be eligible to use Room Reserve from early June. If you have a conditional offer, you will be eligible to use Room Reserve from mid-August.

Room Reservation You will be given the option to reserve a specific room type in a hall of your choice. You will see a list of available rooms which will reduce as rooms are selected by other applicants. Firm Choice Undergraduate; Erasmus full year; Erasmus semester 1; Art Foundation
Room Preference You will be required to select three preferences for your choice of accommodation using the criteria of Area, Room type and catering. Please note that this is subject to availability. All undergraduates; Insurance students; Clearing students; Mature students (aged over 30); Erasmus students; Art Foundation

Accommodation contract

You will be required to accept the accommodation contract – you can do this by logging into your online accommodation portal.

You will need to make sure you have read and understood the contract before agreeing to it. The contract is a legally binding agreement with the University, your landlord.
