STEM Community Day 2018

Join us for an afternoon of fun and informal activities and demonstrations relating to the University's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) subjects!

There is something for everyone at our STEM Community Day with activities and timed workshops linked to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subject areas.

The event aims to inspire all ages: from budding astrophysicists and mathematicians, to those with a wild imagination and a thirst for trying new things.

  • Fruit Piano
  • Light Painting
  • Tornado Tubes
  • Human Sized Bubbles
  • NAO Robots
  • Biomechanics Demonstrations and Testing

Timed workshops* include:

  • Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream
  • River Detectives
  • Virtual Reality
  • Stroop Test
  • MBed Programming
