Inspiring Minds: Sport

Wednesday 16th January 2019

This event was for those students interested in studying a sports-related subject at university, to find out more about the options available to them. Students had the opportunity to attend their choice of example lectures from the department, hear from some of our sports graduates and take a look around the university with a sports-based campus tour.

Some of the feedback we received includes:

"I just wanted to pass on my thanks to everyone involved in the Inspiring Minds day. My son and indeed ourselves were blown away by the welcome, the workshops/lectures and facilities. It was really really good"

"The day inspired me by showing me the many career paths that University can take you"

"The sessions were well presented and interactive, with interesting subject matters"

"My son and I had a great day at the Inspiring Minds Sport event. It was well run and every bit of it was useful to both of us. When you know what you're wanting to do, this is a much better way of visiting the University to find out relevant information"

Please see below for the event timetable, which gives an insight as to what sessions are typically offered to students.
