Collecting your BRP (Tier 4 students)

If you applied for your Tier 4 visa overseas and nominated Loughborough University as the delivery location for your BRP, the collection point will be the visa scanning facility in James France between 10:15am on Wednesday 25 September and 12.45pm on Tuesday 1 October 2019.

You will need to book a time or attend a drop-in session.

Your BRP will not be available prior to 25 September, or the date shown in the UKVI letter confirming that your visa application has been successful.

You will need to present your passport so that we can check your identity. If you wear a full facial covering for religious reasons, a female member of staff will ask you to remove this in a more private location.

After 1.00pm on Tuesday 1 October 2019, BRPs will be available for collection from the Student Enquiries Counter in the Rutland Building.

Dependants

If you are collecting BRPs on behalf of your dependants, you must present their passports.  Your dependants do not need to be present.

Collection from a Post Office

If you are collecting your BRP from a Post Office, you are encouraged to do this prior to collecting your University ID card.  The UKVI letter confirming that your visa application has been successful will state the address of the Post Office and the collection date.

If you are issued with your student ID card prior to collecting your BRP, you must present this at the visa scanning event or Student Enquiries Counter before the expiry of your 30 day vignette.  Failure to do so will lead to you being placed on a leave of absence and your Tier 4 sponsorship being withdrawn.

Visa Extension Applications

If you applied to extend your visa through the University’s Visa Extension Scheme, your passport and BRP will be delivered to the Student Advice and Support Service.  You will be advised when your documents can be collected.
