Creative Spark
Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Programme is a five-year initiative (2018 - 2023) to support university and institutional partnerships with the UK to develop entrepreneurship and enterprise skills for students and young entrepreneurs across seven countries: Ukraine, Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan) and South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia).
We are delighted to share that we partnered with Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan’s DC Lab, A Digital Creativity Lab – which is the first coworking space in Astana for designers, digital artists, video-makers and photographers!
We partnered with Nazarbayev Universities DC Lab with the support from the British Council: Creative Spark programme to:
- Provide opportunities for skills development for students and young creative entrepreneurs
- Knowledge exchange: Share best practice and entrepreneurial insights
- Assist DC Lab in the growth and implementation of the new incubation hubs and support start-ups
This is done by delivering enterprise skills to students, graduates, and young entrepreneurs, ranging from pitching ideas and starting a business, to protecting intellectual property and securing financial support.
