When will my graduation ceremony take place?

Subject to any national restrictions in place at the time, graduation ceremonies will be held on both the Loughborough and London campuses during the 2021 Easter vacation.  Please refer to the Ceremony Dates page for further details.

What is the deadline for my results to be published in order to receive my certificate now and attend the Easter 2021 ceremony?

If your results are published by Friday 27 November 2020, the University will produce your certificate in December.  This means that you will need to have cleared any remaining academic debt (including tuition and reassessment fees) before this date.

If there are exceptional circumstances preventing you from meeting this deadline, your certificate will also be issued providing your results have been published by 14 December 2020.

Students whose results are released after 14 December 2020 will receive their certificate during or after the July 2021 graduation ceremonies.

When and how will I receive my degree certificate?

Certificates and transcripts (where applicable) will be posted or may be collected from the Loughborough campus only (they will not be issued from the London campus). You must complete the form below to advise us of your preference.  If you wish to collect your certificate, or nominate someone to do so, we will be in touch to confirm when collection may be made.  We aim to post out certificates in January 2021.

What date will appear on my degree certificate?

If your programme was delivered at the London campus, your certificate will show a graduation date of 9 December 2020.  If you were based at the Loughborough campus, the date will be 14 December 2020.

How will my name appear on my degree certificate?

Your certificate is a formal record of your award and, as such, we prefer to use the official version of your name for graduation purposes.

Your name will appear in the form 'first name(s) surname / family name' (Titles and other awards are not included). If your full name follows a different convention, or you need to make any other changes to your name, please complete a Name Change form and email it with supporting evidence (e.g. passport or marriage certificate) to graduation@lboro.ac.uk. The deadline for name changes for students whose certificate will be issued in December is Friday 20 November 2020. Changes cannot be made after the production of your certificate.
