Ongoing Training Support

To maximise the development of riders or drivers who have accessed our physiology and strength assessments, we are able to provide ongoing support based on results generated from their performance assessments.

There is an unrivalled opportunity for our experienced inter-disciplinary team to combine to create a data-driven and comprehensive performance plan.

Physical Performance Development – Using the assessment data Loughborough Sport can benchmark riders/drivers against our database of athletes to identify key areas for development to excel in their discipline. With awareness of physical limitations identified by the physiotherapy and strength & conditioning teams a detailed physical training programme can be developed and tailored specifically for each rider/driver to complete.

Physiological Performance Development – Aligned with the physical requirements of performance in the specific motorsport category, Loughborough Sport can programme to ensure riders/drivers are physiologically equipped to deliver high quality performance. Individually-focused physiological training programmes can be created and monitored to ensure rider/drivers are always best prepared for racing, especially over multiple days.

Individuals will have access to monthly check-ins and regular contact with coaches to ensure that training is being performed effectively even when remote.

Nutrition to support performance and training is also a key consideration for which Loughborough Sport can provide ongoing support. Monthly check-ins can be employed with an experienced nutritionist designed to ensure riders/drivers are maintaining a healthy dietary balance to remain fit, healthy and maximise performance.

Physiotherapy Our physiotherapy clinic can provide integrated support for rehabilitation from injuries and general body management (sports massage and therapies) to ensure riders are in optimum condition.
