Why did you come to Loughborough?

I wanted to pursue higher education in an excellent university while being involved if one of, if not the best, rugby programmes in the country.

How did Loughborough prepare you for future life (career or rugby)?

Receiving a quality education and the opportunity to do a placement year in Buenos Aires allowed me to develop the relevant skillset to enter the business world.  At the same time, the quality of the rugby programme allowed me to progress from the 5th team to the National 1 side, and was excellent preparation for the Premiership.  I was given the tools and put with the right people to develop myself physically and mentally.  I also considerably developed my knowledge of the game and broadened my rugby skillset.

What advice would you give to a player thinking about coming to study and play at Loughborough?

Get yourself involved as much as possible. The more you put in, the more you will get out of the program. If you put the right effort in, you will reach the objectives you set as you’re supported by excellent people to get there.
