Loughborough Lightning is the Number 1 Netball Super League side in the East Midlands boasting a wealth of international stars in its line-up.
Loughborough Lightning is the no.1 Netball Super League side in the East Midlands and has been competing in the Netball Super League since its inception eighteen years ago. In the past five seasons Lightning have made it to the final four of each year, including two consecutive Grand Finals, and were crowned Netball Super League Champions for the first time in 2021. Lightning also topped the table in 2017 and were crowned British Fast5 All Stars Champions in both 2017 and 2019.
Drawing in crowds of 1500 people per match, Loughborough University offers an unrivalled match day experience, where friends, families and netball fans alike can enjoy a night of action packed fun and excitement.
Loughborough Lightning also boasts a competitive Academy structure with top level coaching and playing opportunities from Under 15’s up to U21’s. For the community there are also regular camps, masterclasses and tournaments hosted on campus available to all.
