One change for Lightning as Warriors come to town

Loughborough Lightning will look to continue their winning form as they welcome Worcester Warriors to campus this Saturday.

Lightning are set to make just the one change to the side that put 34 unanswered points past Richmond, with Leah Bartlett stepping up to start at Prop replacing Katie Trevarthen. Detysha Harper will also join the bench.

The match, which forms part of a doubleheader with the Loughborough Lightning development side who also play Worcester Warriors, will kick off at 2 pm on campus.

When the two sides met last at Loughborough, Lightning came out top taking the win 64-12 for their 8th consecutive win of the 2018 season. For Lightning, it will be important to secure the win this weekend and continue to build momentum into the Christmas period.

However, after last week's first win of the season against Bristol Bears, Worcester Warriors will be confident that they can cause an upset at the top of the table.

Lightning’s game kicks off at 2 pm followed by the development team at 4 pm. Tickets are available HERE.
