Will is a PhD student at Loughborough who has been refereeing from the age of 14. He began refereeing at Loughborough through IMS games and now has a role as Football Officiating Hub Manager.

Amie has been a Performance Analysis Volunteer throughout the course of her Loughborough journey. Starting by gaining experience as a PA for Bedford Blues and to becoming a PA intern with England Rugby 7's.

Physiology Placement Student
Karolina is a Sport and Exercise Science student from London. She first started volunteering through becoming Club Chair of Taekwondo, where she also gained her Emergency First Aid qualification. More recently she became a Physiology Placement student, working with Loughborough Lightning Cycling Performance Programme.

Rose Wignall
Event Management Volunteer
Rose is an Event Management Volunteer who has recently become an International Federation of University Sport Student Ambassador for 2022/23 representing BUCS. She began getting involved in the CVA through working at Rugby matches, Derby U23 Football matches and as a Loughborough Lightning Match Day Assistant. These experiences helped her gain experience to get a job at the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 as an Assistant Stadium Manager.

Flynn Duggan is a Marketing and Management student within the Business School at Loughborough. At the moment he is on placement with Glaxo Smith Kline within a business role, but also Dan Photography at the weekends and when he gets a spare minute.

After changing degrees from Product Design Engineering to Sport and Exercise Science, Alex stepped out his comfort zone and began exploring all the different opportunities through the Coach & Volunteer Academy. After initially getting involved in swimming and athletics coaching, Alex's determination and initiative led him to a variety of Performance Analyst roles with Rugby and the Boxing Centre of Excellence!

Through her Undergraduate Placement with Loughborough Sport's Physiology Team and now in her current role as a postgraduate volunteer, Molly has immersed herself in the performance environment on campus developing not only her technical skills, but also the softer skills that are key to being an effective practitioner.

Having always been involved in Sport from a young age, Lucy's passion for sport and how it could help push her to be the best she could be continued that alongside her studies at Loughborough. This led to Lucy engaging in a range of opportunities to develop her personal and professional skills, from a Sports Ambassador and SportMAD coach, to Chair of the CVA Committee and Sports Senate member.
