Charlotte Croffie is Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Loughborough University and Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Loughborough London Campus.

Charlotte joined Loughborough University in September 2022 and has over 20 years’ experience working at an executive level in human resources, organisational design and development, business and leadership development, entrepreneurship, education, international development and promoting social justice.

Charlotte works across multiple fora to advance Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and the associated benefits. This extends to advocacy of organisation transformation, innovation, access to technology, effective use of equitable policies, procedures, and systems, and the development of healthy working cultures.

Prior to joining Loughborough, Charlotte held positions as a Partner with GatenbySanderson, Director of Human Resources at Birkbeck, University of London; Director for Entrepreneurship at UCL; and Director of Organisational Development at UCL.

Charlotte has an extensive portfolio which includes working internationally to support EDI, ethical leadership, cultural change, entrepreneurship development and promotion and social justice.

Charlotte leads the University on all matters relating to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

This includes ensuring EDI activities become and remain central to the University strategy and leading the submissions on University EDI related accreditations.
