Loughborough University London
The Loughborough University London website has details of approved accommodation for London students. Students are required to book their accommodation directly with their chosen provider and the provider is then responsible for managing the tenancy agreement with the student.
If you choose to look for alternative accommodation, we suggest that you:
- Use our Guide to Living Off-Campus (click on image below). This will take you through the whole renting process and includes general information appropriate to London students on thinking about the type of accommodation you are looking for (page 4), where to look (page 6), using our viewing a property checklist to compare properties and make an informed decision (page 10), things to think about when you move in (page 20), living in the property (page 24), problems (page 29), ending your tenancy (page 32) and moving out (page 34).
- Get your contract checked by the Student Advice and Support Service BEFORE signing. Make an appointment to see an adviser and get your contract checked before you sign (and it becomes legally and financially binding) so that you are aware of your rights and responsibilities.
The guide to living off-campus
The Student Advice and Support Service can offer advice and guidance to students on understanding their rights and responsibilities under a tenancy agreement and dealing with problems if they arise. To book an appointment either visit the Student Support and Services desk on the London campus or use our online appointment request form.
