Library support for isolating students
The Library is keen to support isolating students wherever possible on our Loughborough campus and is working with the LSU Volunteers to provide continued access to our physical book stock, even if you are unable to visit the Library in person.
If you are isolating and require a book, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will collect the book from our shelves and issue it to your account. We will let you know the book is waiting for collection and will give a link to an online form so you can inform the LSU you have something that needs to be delivered. Their volunteers will collect the book from the Library and drop it off where you are isolating.
If you receive an email asking you to return or renew a book and you can’t renew it yourself online, let us know by replying to the email we sent and we will adjust your account to take into account your isolation period.

Subject guides are your starting point for finding information in a specific subject area. They provide quick access to key resources for finding journal articles, books and other information for your studies. They also provide help and details of your Academic Librarian, who has carefully selected all of these resources for you.
We have also recently launched ARK - the Library’s Academic Research Kit. It's a set of new online interactive tutorials that can help you with searching, evaluating, and referencing information.
Finally, if you aren't sure who to direct your question to, need general advice about using the Library or want to query something on your account, you can simply email email@example.com and we can make sure your question goes to the appropriate member of the Library staff for an answer.
