Mendeley authentication problems
We are currently experiencing issues relating to logging into the Mendeley Cite Word plugin and in some cases Mendeley itself which may to be related to a recent change in University multi-factor authentication. We have reported the problem to IT services who are investigating a possible solution.
In the meantime, one possible workaround is to either use an existing individual password or create a new individual password for Mendeley. Mendeley is an Elsevier product and the same individual password is used across all Elsevier resources, so if you have an existing Scopus or Science Direct password you can use this to log into Mendeley instead of selecting “Sign in via your institution”.
