Library Service Availability from 23rd March

The Library building is now closed until further notice, but our communication channels remain open, and our online resources are all still available.

If you haven't already seen our Friday update, these are the services that we are currently operating:

  • Library services will be offered remotely during office hours 9am-5pm. For general enquiries call 01509 222 360 or email library@lboro.ac.uk.
  • The Library provides access to a range of content digitally which you can access through your PC or mobile device. Please visit the library website for more information on gaining access to these resources.
  • Our Academic Librarians are available to offer support you with your studies throughout the closure period. Check the webpage for your academic librarian's contact details.
  • From this week we will be trialling a limited book fetching service for print books. This will be limited to 10 books per person and is subject to staff availability and demand. If you require books and can come to the Library then email library@lboro.ac.uk with the details and your borrower number. If you email in the morning or overnight your books will be ready in the afternoon. If you email in the afternoon your books will be available the next morning. Please note we cannot offer a postal service.

If you have any other queries or concerns about your Library account, please don't hesitate to contact us and we will support you wherever possible.

Please keep an eye on our webpage and the Library's Twitter feed - @lborolibrary - for regular updates and tips about what to do when studying remotely.
