IT Support for Staff Working from Home
An update from IT Services for staff working from home:
IT drop-in sessions
Following the guidance outlined in the recent Notification update from the Vice-Chancellor, the remaining IT drop-in sessions due to be hosted next week - Monday 23rd March and Wednesday 25th of March - will now be cancelled.
IT support for working from home
To support staff with setting up devices to work from home, IT Services have created a suite of video resources demonstrating how to install and use key services when off campus. These include:
- Multi-Factor Authentication (Duo mobile app)
- Connecting to the VPN
- Group Workspaces
- Cisco Jabber
- Microsoft Office 365 applications (email, Word, Excel, OneDrive etc.)
All videos resources can be accessed under the ‘First-time setup – Instructional Videos’ tab:
