eduroam is a worldwide community that allows any user (researchers, teachers, students, staff) from an eduroam participating site to get network access at any institution connected to eduroam.
Once you are set up to use the eduroam network at Loughborough, you can visit other eduroam institutions, worldwide, and log into their network using your Loughborough University credentials.
For users of the University Managed Windows Service - if your device is a Windows 7 device you need to join the eduroam (Off-campus) wireless network, when accessing the network at other institutions and enter your Loughborough credentials. For the Windows 10 service your device will automatically join eduroam.
Information on where eduroam is available can be found at https://www.eduroam.org/where/.
All users of the eduroam service are required to adhere to our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), and any equivalent policies of the academic institution they are visiting, and the Users section of the Janet Roaming Policy.
