Self-Managed Lists service, Majordomo, is due to be decommissioned Monday October 31, 2022

The Self-Managed Lists service, Majordomo, is due to be decommissioned in October 2022. With the move to using Microsoft Teams for communication tools and collaborative working, the Majordomo service no longer meets operational requirements due to its low use and limited functionality.
To support users, IT Services will be contacting list owners with recommended options (see below) and timescales of the work to remove lists.
Please note that no new lists will be created after Tuesday, 23 August 2022.

When will this happen?

All current Self-Managed Majordomo lists will no longer be active from Monday, October 31, 2022

What do I need to do?

Please consider your email list requirements and if the list is still needed. If the list is still required, we recommend using one of the listed alternative options below.

It is recommended to use Jiscmail (https://jiscmail.ac.uk) as there is an option for Institutional login https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/secure which works with your Loughborough University credentials.
