Renew Wi-Fi certificate

One of your devices (mobile telephone, tablet, or laptop) is connecting to the University wireless network (eduroam) using a certificate that is no longer valid.

From 27th January 2020 this device would have stopped connecting to the University wireless network (eduroam) unless you renew the certificate using the steps below.


To resolve this issue you will need to re-register your device on the setup-wifi wireless network.

1) If you have a Windows Laptop or Android mobile phone you will need to remove your old certificate first, instructions for Windows are at:


2) Join the setup-wifi network instead of eduroam.

3) Go to the address if you are not automatically redirected.


If you are unsure how to complete this, please visit the PC Clinic on the main floor of the library. Term time opening hours are:

- Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m Saturday & Sunday from 12:00 p.m to 2:00 p.m.
