Known issue with campus Wi-Fi and wired networks

Network issue

The University is currently experiencing intermittent network connectivity.

This is due to an issue with the device which connects all of the network together and is affecting both the wired and wireless networks. IT Services are currently working with the supplier to stabilise the network, and completely resolve the issue as soon as is possible.

Following a network outage; devices physically connected (wired) will start working again first, followed by Wi-Fi devices which may take up to 30 minutes to reconnect.

During an outage you should still be able to access email, MS Teams, Learn, and other services using your mobile phone data.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
